This American Life retracted its story “The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs” after they discovered that several facts in the original piece by Mike Daisey were made up. Marketplace’s Rob Schmitz discovered the lies; Brooke Gladstone of On the Media has been thinking about the line between journalist, creative nonfiction, and theater. They talked with Brian about it all.
